The Sales Manager will manage all Avid direct sales associates within the Kansas City market and indirect sales associates throughout Avid and Allo Business Solutions markets. A primary focus will be to help build a team of account managers in existing markets developing new customers and selling additional services to existing customers. It will be very important that the Sales Manager assist Avid account managers with meeting sales targets as identified, develop strong relationships with Avid business sales management and account executives. All Avid employees work as a team to provide exceptional customer service and efficiently connect new customers and enhancing these relationships is important. You may be asked to assist Avid and ALLO in other matters for the betterment of the company.

*This will be an in-office position located in Mission, KS*
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct, monitor and lead the development of sales strategies, projects and budget in line with corporate strategy.
  • Develop, monitor and lead Avid’s sales performance within Avid markets, against pre-set KPI’s in line with Corporate Strategy, and recommend corrective actions accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with key contacts within the business organizations to promote Avid product offerings and identify new leads.
  • Actively engage in building strong relationships with key business partners.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of innovative methods to increase sales primarily through supporting ALLO Business Sales associates
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with sales associates to follow up smooth running of activities and discuss their suggestions as well as adopt appropriate procedures with respect to these suggestions.
  • Attain sales targets across the region, and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
  • Propose new initiatives, plans and programs to improve the effectiveness of the Avid Sales function within Avid markets.
  • Keep abreast with market trends and monitor competitors’ activities.
  • Oversee and monitor contracts for all the products/services within Avud markets.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT or engineering
  • Additional professional qualifications will be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 to 12 years of working experience in Business Sales including three years of experience in a senior management role within Business Sales.
  • Telecom/ISP/Networking experience is required
